What types of tails do you sell?
I make:
-fabric tails
-basic silicone tails (less detailed, lighter, budget friendly silicone tail)
-full silicone tails. (Solid silicone, movie quality, most realistic)
-hybrid tails (fabric body and silicone fins)
-tail slings available upon request.
How do I choose my size?
Each tail is custom made to fit you! I send a measurements chart and have an instructional video on my YouTube! I make the tail to match the given measurements.
I can also provide instructions for an optional duct tape body double.
Can tails be used for swimming
Only if you are a strong swimmer who is tail ready!
The tails I make are specifically made for use in water and only made using skin safe, animal safe, and water safe materials BUT even with a safely made tail, you can still get hurt if you aren’t a strong enough swimmer. Please check out tail safety information here:

Do monofins come inside the tails?
Yes! In order to safely swim in a mermaid tail you need a proper monofin inside! Monofins are permanently built into all silicone flukes. I use professionally made monofins from finis and body glove (reliable swim equipment manufacturers) other (proper) monofin brands can be used upon request such as a hydra.
Do you offer rush orders?
Unfortunately I cannot offer rush orders at this time. Handmade art takes time to make properly! Rushing leads to making mistakes.
On RARE OCCASIONS there is a reasonable deadline we both agree to in the contract and a rush fee of $500 is charged to make the tail quicker.
What is the current wait time?
Ready to ship items will ship within 10 business days
Custom items vary but tails generally take up to 6 months, tops typically take 6-8 weeks, smaller accessories typically take 2-4 weeks, and squishy toys, silicone sea creatures typically take 10 business days. (These are estimates!)
Please note: The wait time doesn’t begin until after I receive both the measurements and the finalized design.
How much is shipping
US Shipping is typically $30-$100 depending on the weight and size of the monofin. International shipping is calculated differently but I would estimate $100-$200 not including any import fees.
Do I ship internationally?
Yes! I can ship to any country or place that USPS, UPS, or FEDEX will go.
What are your cancelation and refund policies?
I am only able to cancel an order if I have not ordered materials yet or started construction of the tail. Cancellation is at the discretion of the artist (Haley mermaid) and is considered on a case by case basis. In the event my website flags an order as fraudulent or a high risk of fraudulent behavior, the order may be canceled. Canceled orders may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. This is up to the discretion of the shop owner.
I am not able to offer refunds, exchanges, or returns on any order.
A contract is required for all orders of mermaid tails and tops.
Do you offer payment plans?
I do offer payment plans. I am able to offer 3 month or 6 month payment plans allowing you to pay on the total as much as you like as often as you like for the selected time frame. This is available through PayPal only and a 20% non-refundable deposit is required.
How old do you have to be to purchase a tail?
You must be 18 or older to place an order.
How old do you have to be to swim in a mermaid tail?
Fabric tails are recommended for strong swimmers ages 8+ and as first time tails.
Hybrid tails are recommended for strong swimmers ages 10+ who have used tails before.
Basic silicone tails are recommended for strong swimmers (with experience using fabric tails) ages 13+
Full silicone tails are recommended for strong swimmers (with experience using fabric tails) ages 18+.
